Despite recovering from surgery, when Rusty told me he had gotten box seats to the Garth Brooks concert, I knew I had to rest up enough to go. It was the last night my parents were in town so they were able to babysit. We ate dinner up near the suites and then headed to the AT&T suite with a few other people.
Us and the Mendenhalls. They lived up the street from us in Gilbert and moved here a year ago for Sam's job with American.
The concert was amazing. He played all the hits. It's crazy how we remember all the words even after not hearing the songs for years.
We have been singing his songs ever since. Such a great show.
